QUEST Alliance

Our partners always help us keep our work grounded. From new innovations like the bootcamp model in the Northeast, to working with vulnerable communities in Kerala and Karnataka — they allow us to constantly learn, refine and tailor support to the needs of young learners and educators. It’s always nice to hear from them —

1️⃣ kamalakannan ramakrishnan from St. Thomas Trust – “We did not know how to use Zoom or how to create a report and share it on email. We learned each of these skills through our association with Quest Alliance.”

2️⃣ Nuneseno Chase from YouthNet on the bootcamp model that has continued even post-pandemic owing to the region’s poor road connectivity, internet connectivity, and bad public transportation system – “It isn’t a one-size fits all model. Trainers would reach out to local youth groups, churches and self-help groups to mobilize students to attend the bootcamp. Some even provided accommodation and food to the trainers.”

3️⃣ Sr. Rosy Lopez from the Center for Empowerment of Women Society – “Quest Skill Training creates opportunities to skill youth in such a way that they get employment, space, and scope for development of talents of youth in Kerala.”

4️⃣ Paul Ramanathan from SAMA FOUNDATION – “We didn’t think we could do it. However, training of trainers, various programs such as MasterCoach and Trainer Tribe gave us the confidence to go on.”
